The Accursed Towers Mode, which is part of the game's third major Update called "Age of Falling Towers," introduces a fresh PVE and PVP experience with significant rewards such as Cursed Gear (click for more), a boost of +40% PvP Damage, Legendary Crests, Set items, gold, experience, and numerous other bonuses.

This Guide will teach you about Diablo Immortal's latest Clan-based game mode, known as Accursed Towers. You will discover the process of securing Towers, the timetable, and the rewards that come with it.

Accursed Towers Explained

Blizzard released the Age of Falling Towers, the third major content update for 2023, during the midst of Diablo Immortal’s Season 11. The update introduces a large amount of new content, including Accursed Towers Clan-based game mode.

Accursed Towers features both PvE and PvP gameplay. Clans will compete to claim ownership of towers, thereby providing powerful bonuses to all clan members and the opportunity to acquire new .

Players must be in a clan to participate in the mode.

Each clan may have up to 2 towers under their control per season. At the end of each eight-week season, the ownership of all towers will reset.

Accursed Towers offers a combination of PvE and PvP gameplay where clans engage in a battle to capture towers, providing great benefits to all members and a chance to obtain cursed items, Legendary Crests and more.

Participation in the mode is exclusive to clan members.

During each season, a clan may have a maximum of two towers under their control. At the end of every eight-week season, ownership of all towers will reset.

How to Claim your Towers

To access the Tower tab, open your menu and click or tap the Clan sub-menu. From here select Accursed Towers.

At 9:00 PM Saturday, server time, registration opens for Clan officers to sign up to purify a tower.

Registration closes at 3:00 AM Monday, server time after which purification of the tower can begin, initiating a PvE (player versus enemy) match that involves the entire clan.

At the beginning of a season, players will have numerous Unclaimed Towers to choose from, all of which will be visible on the map.

Gameplay

Enter the tower, cross the barrier, and proceed into the marked area to begin. Collect as many Cursed Shards as possible withing the time limit.

Each member of the Clan will maintain a record of their highest amount of cursed Shards collected in a single completion. You can do as many runs as you want and even farm inside the tower for a chance at Cursed Gear (click for more). The top 10 members with the highest amount of Cursed Shards collected in a single completion will be add up towards Clan’s best score.

At 7:00 PM Saturday, server time, the Clan with the highest amount of Clan Points will occupy the tower.

This isn’t as easy at it seems. The enemies inside the tower are immune to damage. You will need to find and activate the Curse Source to make them vulnerable to damage, and to keep them vulnerable you need to maintain the Kill Streak up. Once the Kill Streak ends, the enemies become invincible again, meaning that you need to find another Curse Source to activate.

*One thing worth mentioning is the Corruption Meter. Upon claiming any Tower, the corruption meter will start increasing. After reaching a certain amount, your tower will get attacked by monsters. Members of the clan must go to defend their tower as soon as possible because if it reaches 100% the Tower can be lost and reclaimed by another clan.

Clan Leader can stop the Corruption Meter from increasing by powering up the tower withing the Accursed Tower menu. Doing this will end the attacks from monsters and double the periodic rewards provided by the tower. However, if the tower is powered up, other clans will be able to challenge the tower through PvP.

Best Strategy for 2500+ Shards per run

In order to be able to score Rank 1 you need follow a specific strategy during your run.

We recommend doing this Game Mode with a 4-man party.

Start by activating one of the nearest Curse Source and continue farming towards the outer part of the zone. From there keep on the edge of the map walking clockwise or anti-clockwise, basically doing a big loop around the whole zone.

The main objective is to stay together and insta-kill as many Elites as possible. One player in the party should focus on activating the Curse Sources on your way. Don’t collect all the Curse Shards that drop from enemies. Focus only on collecting the Time Globes that extend your Remaining Time. You can freely roam every inch of the map to collect all the Cursed Shards you left behind once the time is over, avoiding the center part which resets the run.

Throughout the map you will find 2 zones —blue (normal) and orange (boosted) which gives 2x rewards and spawn Bosses.

Tower Types and Rewards

Tower Types

There are currently 135 Towers available in the game, categorized into two rarities —Normal and Legendary. These towers offer passive rewards, weekly rewards, and buffs to their owners. (see two photos below)

Normal Towers: provides passive rewards, 3x weekly Contribution Chests and permanent buffs. (this tower cannot be contested unless it has been Powered Up by the Clan Leader, *powering up increases the passive rewards to 2x but the tower can be contested at anytime by another clan)

Legendary Towers: provides 2x as much passive rewards, 3x weekly Legendary Contribution Chests and permanent buffs. (this tower can be contested at any time by other clans)

Tower Rewards

Upon claiming a Tower every member in the clan will be provided with rewards (see the two photos below):

Passive Rewards or Natural Accumulation Rewards: Gold, Experience and Contribution Points at a hourly rate. (Example: Gold 600/hour, Experience 33000/hour, Contribution Points 6/hour)
Weekly Rewards: 3x Contribution Chests for Normal Towers, 3x Legendary Contribution Chests for Legendary Towers.

Contribution Chests can give one of the following: 1x Legendary Crest, 1x Helliquary Remain, 1x Legendary Item, 1x Set Item, 1x Purification Shard (see the photo above).

To Claim your weekly contribution chests you need to have collected Contribution Points —500 for the first chest, 1000 for the second and 1500 for the third chest. You can earn more Contribution Points by farming inside the Towers. All you have to do is return to the middle of the map to interact with the statue in the center of the zone once the time has ended after your run.

Permanent Buffs: there are 135 unique Towers each granting permanent buffs when owning them.

Tower Buffs available in Diablo Immortal —20% PvP Damage Increase (Legendary Tower), Challenge Rift Speed (Legendary Tower), +30% Helliquary Rewards (Legendary Tower), +10% Dungeon Damage, +30% Dungeon Rewards, Monstrous Essence Rewards, Experience Rewards, +100 Challenge Rift Combat Rating, +50 Helliquary Combat Rating.

Note: One Clan can only own 2 Towers at any given time. If a Clan Leader wishes to challenge a different tower, after wining the 10v10 PvP game mode, the clan will swap one of the current owned towers with the new one

How to challenge Clans for Towers

There are 2 ways to start an all-out PvP Match in the Accursed Towers:

Enable Conflict —held from 9:00 PM Saturday - 03:00 AM Monday. Clan admins can choose to open an occupied Cursed Tower for Conflict. This means that any owned tower can be enabled for conflict, therefore other clans will challenge the owner in a 10v10 Clan PvP event. *Keep in mind that Legendary Towers have Forced Enabled Conflict on at all times.
Declare Conflict —held from 03:00 AM Monday - 09:00 PM Tuesday. Clan admins can launch a challenge against any Cursed Towers with Conflict Mode enabled. The top two ranked clans to Declare Conflict are eligible for the Preliminary Round.

Preliminary Rounds

How to Register for Preliminary Rounds

The Registrations for the Preliminary Rounds are held from 9:00 PM Tuesday to 8:00 PM Thursday. All members of a clan that successfully issues a challenge can sign up for the Preliminary Round.

Preliminary Rounds are held from 8:00 to 8:30 PM on Thursdays. Clans that win their Preliminary Round qualify for the Final Round held the following Thursday 8:00 - 8:30 PM.

If no Clan has opened conflict with a held Tower and Conflict Mode is Enabled, then Clans not involved in other conflicts can register for the Final Round. Successfully registering as an alternate qualifies the clan to directly enter the Final Round. This is handled first come, first serve

Final Rounds

How to Register for Final Rounds

The Registrations for the Final Round is held from 9:00 PM Thursday to 8:00 PM Saturday. Clans that have won the Preliminary Round, or registered as an Alternate, can sign up for the finals.

Finals are held from 8:00 - 8:30 PM Saturday. After the game settles the victorious clans will claim their Accursed Towers.

The clan who wins, in addition to gaining control of the tower, also receives a number of rewards from the match, which can also include cursed items.

10 vs 10 Clan Based PvP Explained

The Objective

This is a 10 versus 10 Roster Register Based PvP. Your clan should be able to decide which 10 players will fight in this game more. The goal here is to claim as many objectives as possible, fighting each other on a balanced map. Claiming objectives will give points to the team in charge. The first team to get to 1500 Points will win the game and take ownership of the Accursed Tower.

The Map

This game mode is fairly balanced so therefore is designed to provide an equal chance of success for both teams, offering 1 objective on each side where teams spawn, and another 3 objectives in the middle of the map.

How to Win 10v10 PvP Tournament Mode

The Accursed Towers PvP Clan Based game mode in Diablo Immortal offers a challenging and dynamic experience that requires strategic gameplay and teamwork. There is no one specific way to win this game mode, making it an exciting and unpredictable endeavor. Utilizing real-time voice chat on Discord or in-game can be advantageous, as it enables better communication and coordination between team members.
