Diablo Immortal Content Update, (official Patch Notes)
Ready your wallets, Diablo Immortal just added Pets to do your chores such as inspecting items and collecting gold, oh and other things like new Zone, Inferno difficulties and Events, but none of them matter as much as the companion system. The sixth major update Splintered Souls is near. Here’s what we know so far.

Pets are coming to Diablo Immortal on December 14.
Familiars are Pets or Companions that have their own combination of Active and Passive Skills:
Damage enemies
Provide bonuses
Salvage or Identify items for you
Check out 5 of the 8 Familiars below. More information on the other 3 will be added soon.
Varog: Watchers of the Forest
Duskprowler: Avatar of Mischief
Myrrjen: Tideweaver
Skitterwight: Winged Trickster
Ashsweeper: Conservator of Knowledge
New Zone, Quest Line, and Event: Southern Dreadlands
Sixth major update brings new Zone: Southern Dreadlands, a cold, apocalyptic plain near the Frozen Tundra and sacred Mount Arreat.
The new Zone comes with it’s own Quest Line in addition to battling new monster families and minibosses.
You will also be able to participate in the new tower Defense zone event Sentinel's Stand
Additional Inferno Difficulties and Helliquary Bosses
5 new Helliquary Bosses will be added
The new Bosses can be encountered across 3 new Inferno Difficulties: IV, V, and VI.
3 new Inferno Difficulties: IV, V, and VI.
To unlock Inferno Difficulty IV, you must defeat Saarodan, Sky-Sunderer on Inferno Difficulty III and be at least Paragon Level 1100.
New Helliquary spawn event: Surge
Defeatings any Helliquary boss on any difficulty has a chance to trigger the Helliquary Surge.
In a Helliquary Surge, you’ll need to defeat additional random less powerful Helliquary. Finishing both
main boss and mini boss give extra rewards.
RITE OF CLEANSING DAILY ACTIVITY
New daily activity will be added in Diablo Immortal.

The Rite of Cleansing is a new daily activity where you’ll earn Moonrite Flora from defeating enemies. You can hold up to 99 Moonrite Flora, and each Flora has a strength value of 1–5. Use 5 recently obtained Flora to open one of three events based upon the total value of the Flora used.
The rewards you’ll receive from completing the event scale with the strength of Flora used, and can consist of Legendary items, Set items, and more.
