How get Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal

This Diablo Immortal Tier List has been created to give you a proper idea on choosing the best PvP Legendary Gems out of all the Legendary Gems.

Diablo Immortal PvP Legendary Gem Tier List for all Classes

We can see three categories of star ranks for the legendary gems in Diablo Immortal, and these all will be further divided into five ranks as S, A, B, C and F making S the best, A great, B as situational, C as replaceable and F into totally useless for your class. The star grades and their respective performance are as follows:

  • 1 Star Legendary Gems – these gems are the least powerful gems in the whole category but free to play friendly for casuals and low spenders

  • 2 Star Legendary Gems – the gems under this grade have more power than the 1-star gems, are still free to play friendly but requires more grind

  • 5 Star Legendary Gems – 5-star gems are the most powerful ones, the rarest and they are the ideal gems to be used for most of the builds

How to craft Legendary Gems

You can use any Runes you get from Elder Rift to craft Legendary Gems at any Apprentice Jeweler. 1 and 2-Star Legendary Gems are directly craftable and require specific combinations of Runes to make.

5-star gems can only be crafted directly with Telluric Pearls which can be aquired once a week from the Hilts Trader with Hilts or with real money from the cash shop.

For a chance at a 5-star Legendary Gem, you will need to spend 22 Fa Runes to craft a random Legendary Gem, which could include a potential 5-star gem. To get Fa Runes, you must purchase them from the Fading Ember trader.

How to upgrade Legendary Gems

To upgrade Legendary Gems you need Gem Power, which you get by dismantling other Legendary Gems at the Apprentice Jeweler and with other Legendary Gems (1 Star Gems give 1 Gem Power, 2 Star Gems give 4 Gem Power and 5 Stars give 36 Gem Power) Duplicates are also required for upgrading higher levels and higher rarity gems require more duplicates to upgrade. This makes upgrading 5-star gems particularly time-consuming.

In addition to adding special powers, all Legendary Gems also add the following:

  • Resonance: Increases the base attribute (Life or Damage) of the socketed item.

  • Combat Rating: Adds directly to your Combat Rating, a measure of your offense and defense. This is purely additive, so this doesn't dictate where the gem should go.

  • Increases Magic Find: Adds this property once you upgrade the gem to Rank 5

Find out how much Combat Rating and Resonance you can get and how much it costs to rank up any 1,2 and 5☆ Legendary Gem below:

How to buy and sell Legendary Gems on the player Market

Players can buy and sell Legendary Gems at the Market in Westmarch with the premium currency called Platinum. You can acquire Platinum by selling items in the Market or buy it with real money from the cash shop.
